Basque cheesecake is a crustless cheesecake with a caramelised, nearly burnt exterior that originated in the Basque region of Spain. The cheesecake has a creamy interior that’s almost like custard and is baked at a high temperature to achieve its classic texture.
Due to the ingredients used to make our popular Basque Cheesecake, it’s a naturally gluten-free option which makes it suitable for those with this dietary requirement. We make a range of gluten-free options in our Kent bakery and are always happy to tailor recipes where possible to ensure everyone is able to enjoy our tasty treats.
